Lunch Break Beauty Buys

Happy Sunday all :)

Whilst I have an infinite list of products both high end & high street that is always being added to, the products in this post had been added to my list over the last few weeks. I decided to take a trip to Boots on my lunch hour on Friday to cut my list down a bit & these products were my picks.

Here are my all important first impressions, with more reviews on these products to come!

Whilst catching up on one of Barbara's (ThePersianBabe)YouTube videos, I found some of her favourites include the Nip + Fab range. I picked this hand cream up, (I do have a few too many hand creams which I never finish...) however I was really excited to smell this cream - which has a great light, hydrating but non-greasy texture. The smell though I must say is not my thing, it's an almost nutty smell - which lingers forever! I know this would give me a huge headache after too much use - however I am gonna keep trying this one out, see if it grows on me!

Quite a few beauty bloggers & YouTubers rave about this body scrub. I don't exfoliate enough, but think this scrub could change things around. I headed straight for this on the Soap & Glory display, unscrewed the lid & smelt the amazing zingy, sugary scent everybody has been loving about this product. I have yet to try this out, but am thinking good results will follow.

One of my Beauty Resolutions for 2013 was to get on some kind of moisturising routine! This has kind of happened, but I am hoping this Beauty Oil from Garnier will help get me into an even better routine. The combination of Argan, Macadamia, Almond & Rose oils means moisture is delivered fast to the skin, just what I need! It has a great smell, almost like a Jean Paul Gaultier perfume. Really enjoying this, as I have sneaked a use a couple of times, and was pleased to see the oil leaves a great sheen on the skin, without being super greasy.

This is the first Micellar solution which I have decided to purchase. There have been many a night recently where I am having to drag myself to the bathroom to wash the days makeup / dirt & grime off my face. This is so ideal as a compromise - I squirt some of this on to a cotton pad and cleanse my face with this fab water. It leaves my skin feeling fresh, not dry, not greasy just comfortable. As my first Micellar water purchase I am really happy with this so far. I'm by no means using this as a face wash substitute, but definitely if I have a late night, or a lot of makeup on I will use this. I really struggled to find the Taaj Micellar water (which has had rave reviews) and the Dior Micellar water I thought was a bit on the expensive side at over £20. I'm going to see how this one fairs out.

I have never been one that has much luck with concealers, I have a lot of blemishes & redness from Rosacea that I need to cover, they never seem to deliver, or cover for more than a few hours (are my expectations too high? I really don't know). So at £4 I really did not have much to loose, and this concealer has a huge fan following which pushed me to make the purchase. It's a great consistency, great under the eyes & has a good coverage, so far so good!

These nail polishes are new on the block, and come in about 10 shades. These two I really wanted because in my extensive nail polish collection I don't own a colour like these. I am really excited to try both as they are part of the BarryM Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint collection, and they are expected to last a long time, and have a gel manicure like shine. I will be sure to post a photo and tell you how these perform on the nails in the near future!

Have you tried any of the things I brought on my lunch break?
Have you got a product I need to add to my list of goodies to buy, let me know below!
