Bumble & Bumble Tonic Lotion

Bumble & Bumble are a haircare brand that has rocketed into Boots stores and salons over the past few months. They are now recognised as a professional haircare brand not only in the US Markets but now in the UK too.  

I love the image that surrounds the brand of Bumble & Bumble, I also love the name - so its was a done deal that when these came to stores in the UK and were much more readily available I had to try just something from the selection on offer.

A great way to try different products and newer brands is to buy the travel sizes, (this goes for all beauty products, get your hands on as many samples as you can!) even if you're not traveling just experimenting with hair care. 

I popped some of B&B's travel sized products in my basket. The ones I had heard the most about were all in there together, for example the Surf Spray, Thickening Spray & this post's feature the Bumble & Bumble Tonic Lotion.

At £16 for the full size of 250ml, the Bumble & Bumble tonic lotion (available at Boots, along with the trial sizes) is a light mist which works best to spray over damp hair. Smelling full of Tea Tree Oil and other goodies, it is really uplifting and revitalising for the scalp.

Whilst I am not aware that this lotion / spray has any forms of heat protectant within it (my hair care routine involves blow drying most mornings) it untangles my hair  in preparation for styling or drying and lasts throughout the whole day. It's one of those products you can feel the difference when it's not been used - and we all love those products.

The spray also has Lemongrass and Peppermint extracts in addition to the Tea Tree! As I have medium to long length hair, and if concentrated on my ends each morning this definitely nearly lasted 1 month which says a lot for the product and also suggests the full size is money well spent. I would definitely recommend for all hair types as this is a light and refreshing product which does not alter the appearance of or weigh down the hair.

If you are near a Bumble & Bumble stockist give this a spray and maybe even pick up a trial size of one of their best-sellers - try something new for your hair, and it may well reward you!
